CNS is an E-Verify Designated Agent - What is an E-Verify Designated Agent?

An E-Verify Designated Agent is a liaison between E-Verify and employers wishing to participate, but who choose to outsource submission of
employment eligibility verification queries for newly hired employees.
E-Verify Designated Agents conduct the verification process for other employers or clients.
E-Verify is an internet based system administered by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) that allows participating
employers to electronically verify the employment eligibility of their newly hired employees.

Why should employers utilize a Notary Public to verify your employees identification?
Here are some of the benefits an employer will gain by utilizing a skilled and properly trained CNS Notary Public:

  • Notaries can conduct a thorough examination of your potential employees identification because we are able to physically meet with the
    individual and compare their credentials in-person and with the E-verify database.

  • Notaries will submit the I-9 form information electronically and receive eligibility confirmation on behalf of an employer.

  • Notaries are often hired as third-party agents because Notaries are impartial witnesses and since they are required to follow a code of conduct,
    Notaries are ideal to act as trustworthy third party agents.
